Nora (may have also been known as Manora) was my gg-grandmother. I believe she was born in Nash County, but settled in Enfield around 1910. Her parents were George and Bandie Boddie. She eventually married Lawrence Whitaker, but took the name Whitley prior to that.

She had at least seven children. Elias Whitley, Fred Douglas Boddie (my g-grandfather), Pearly Boddie, George Boddie, Addie Boddie, Earnest Boddie, and Lloyd Whitaker.
