hi i am trying to trace my family tree my grandmothers name is kathleen Edens (nee boddington) she has one sister one brother.And nine half brothers and sisters her fathers name was Edward Boddington and her mothers name was Anne Bodddington (nee Corcoran). If any one could help me trace this back futher with such little information i would greatly apprciate it.

Researching: Richard Boddington who lived in Cortlandt County, New York in the late 1800's. He was born in England in 1816. He married Ann E. ? (parents unknown) also born in England. They had several children, one of which was my grandmother, Margaret, born in New York.

Of the hope, that one of you fine Boddington folks have an Elizabeth Boddington born about 1745 (location unknown-England suspected) who married a James Neighbour (of Lewknor) in 1770 Kidlington, Oxfordshire.
James and Elizabeth settled in Lewknor from 1770 -1780 (five children born), moved to South Weston from 1780 - 1784 (two more children born), and at some point after moved to Great Haseley, Oxfordshire prior to 1805.
If I have the correct family, Elizabeth (Boddington) Neighbour passed in Great Haseley, age 69, March of 1814.
Any help appreciated.

Edward Boddington and Maud Bazin, London

Edward Boddington married Maud Marion Bazin, Jun quarter 1888, London and they lived at 28 New Bridge St where Edward was the manager of a Funeral Company that had been managed for many years by Maud's uncle, Alexis Bono, who was also my gt-gt-grandfather.
Are there any descendants of this marriage out there - I have some information about the Bazins and Brealeys.

Samuel and / or Ellen Boddington (Finedon, Northants)

Does anybody know anything about Samuel or Ellen Boddington that lived at no.6 Temperence Terrace, Finedon, Northants in 1881. He was 24, she was about 22 at the time.
They had one son (Edwin) and one daughter (Eliza) at the time, but later had about another 10 or 11 children, one of whom was my grandmother Edna Emily (1902).
The family later moved to Earls Barton.
Does anyone know who Samuel's parents were, or the maiden name of Ellen? Or who her parents were?
Any information would be very much appreciated.

I am currently researching my family genealogy and have come to a dead end 11 generations back in history. I know that my relative George Boddington married Elizabeth Brampton May 5 1711 at St. Anne Soho Westminster London and eventually had a son William. Unfortunately I do not have any vital info on dates of birth or death for them or their son and grandson William II. If their is anyone who could help me with any info that would be great as I am getting married in June and really wanted to display a somewhat completed Family Tree for my guests at my reception. My GGGrandmother was a (nee Boddington) she married a Willaim De La Garde they where in Australia my GGrandmother Ada De La Garde was born 1889 lived to 104. Where does Boddington derive from any one with a list of names with Ellen Boddington on them ???

I have come across a photo of an elderly male the back of which only states "Grandfather Boddington [England]".

I am looking for information on Albert William Boddington. He may have been born in or near Wellingborough, Northamptonshire between 1899 and 1908 and was a plumber by trade. He married Catherine Mary Noble at Barton in Fabis, Nottinghamshire in September 1936. I think he had a sister Beatrice who was a bridesmaid at their wedding. Any help would be much appreciated.

My grandmother, Lauretta Maud Bodington, was born in England 1894 - registered in district Kings Norton. She had an older brother, George, who eventually served in the Royal Navy. They were adopted by their grandmother. Mother;s name was Winnifred Thompson. Lauretta came to Canada about 1913.
Any ideas from anywhere?

Hi. Looking for info on my Grandparents and/or family members. Details taken from gravestones [Lyttelton Cemetary, New Zealand]: ALFRED T BODDINGTON died Sep 9 1936 aged 56. Year of birth would be circa 1886. ELIZABETH ANN BODDINGTON died Jun 15 1944 aged 67. YOB circa 1880. Her maiden name was WELLS; her first married name was PEDERSON. There appears to be no issue from that marriage.
They had 5 children: Phyllis [married names PARSONS & HEAL], Alfred Thomas YOB circa 1904, Ethel Catherine dob Oct 28 1907 [married name MAY], Walter Henry YOB circa 1910, Dorothy [married name MELBOURNE]. As far as we know, all were born in Lyttelton, NZ.
I can *never* remember my Mother [Ethel Catherine] or anyone else talk about their cousins, Aunts or Uncles which leads me to believe they immigrated to NZ. Dorothy did visit the UK circa late 50's. She did mention to me about a cousin that may be visiting NZ [but never did]. Unfortunately my Grandparents died years before was born; my Mum and her siblings have also gone - and no-one asked questions before they passed on :-( Any info no matter how remote it may seem, greatfully appreciated. I have just started to trace my family roots for my maiden name of Boddington, but very unsuccessfully so far, hopefully someone may be able to assist.
My father Edward Boddington born: Stepney England aug.1922, his father Edward Wenham Boddington mother Mary Ann (nee Cox) they had 9 children, and lived in Mile End road London. My father married Hilda Mary (nee Harris) in Isleworth England in 1946 and immigrated to Aust. in 1951.
My father fought in Burma during the war and was in the Territorial Army from Bow Road London.
