"Donald 'Donnie' Ray Bodie, 63, of Monetta, died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2005. Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, at Oak Grove Baptist Church (Aiken County) with interment in the church cemetery. The Rev. Kenneth Weathers officiated. Pallbearers were Jamie Clark, John Clark, Tommy Clark, Larry Clark, Barry Hubbard, and Joe Marlowe.
Mr. Bodie was born in Aiken County to Ophilia Clark and the late Tillman Bodie. He was a retired repairman with The Vacuum and Sewing Center.
Surviving are sons, Wayne (Sharon) Bodie of Leesville, Tim (Patricia) Bodie of Monetta; brothers, Dwight Clark of Prosperity, Harry Rankin of Aiken; sister, Jackie C. McCormick of Monetta; two grandchildren."
