Seeking ancestors of Eugene Bodie b: 24 Jun 1852 in Canada?

Seeking info on the ancestors/descendants of Eugene "Jean" Bodie.I have very limited info on Eugene Bodie. The census records for Snohomish County and Cowlitz County Washington state he was born in Canada. Parents were French/ French Canadian. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1855. His death certificate states he was born in Wisconsin but I do not think that is accurate. He was single at the time of the 1920 census but had married Cora Emma Fletcher by the time my mother was born 2/29/20. It is not known if he was married before that. At some point between 1920 and 1930 the couple relocated to West Kelso, Cowlitz County, WA where they are both buried. Eugene died 20 May 1933. Cora died 31 Oct 1941. Cora was born in Wisconsin and married a Soper before she married Eugene Bodie. Eugene went by the name "Jean". Thanks for any help!

Dr. Charles Henry Bodie, d. 1811, Northumberland Co. PA estate inventory

I am researching the Bodine surname in Northumberland and spotted Charles Bodie. Thinking it was a typo or misreading, I sent for the estate papers. The writing is very clear. It was Dr. Charles Henry Bodie, not a relative, but the estate papers included an inventory which gives insight into the life of a frontier doctor. I would be happy to share with anyone researching early American medicine.
Joan Best

Hi,
I sure could use some help with my brick wall. My Great-great grandfather was John George Bodie (b. 1830) he married Anna Cathryn Wick. They where both from Germany and they came over to the USA before 1870 because my great grandfather George William was born in USA in 1870. George William married Carrie A Shaffer. George's kids where Lee Albert Sr. (My grandfather) Lena C., Beatrice G. and maybe Carrie.

Any info or any help will be great.
Thanks,
Cindy

Dr. Charles Henry Bodie, died 1811 in Northumberland, Pennsylvania, USA

I am researching the Bodine surname in Northumberland and I sent for the estate papers of Dr. Charles Bodie thinking the transcriber misspelled the name. However, it is clearly Bodie. He appeared to have been single (no wife is mentioned). The inventory is a fancinating list of the tools of the medical trade at the beginning of the nineteenth century. He was practicing on the frontier at that time. So does anyone have a CHARLES HENRY BODIE in their family tree? and wonder what happened to him. I have no idea how old he was but my guess would be, based on his list of belongings, at least 35 which means he was born about 1775 or earlier. I would be happy to share his estate papers with anyone who can claim him.
Joan Best

I an looking for a frank Baute 1899-1931. married Sarah Lockard-1901--1937 both died in Harlan Co. Ky. His father also named Frank, at one time lived in Proctor- on the Ky.-Tn. line, Found census in Whitley Co. Ky last name was spelled Banta on records. Having a hard time finding anything and wonder if the spelling is different from what I have, Also found on census Frank Sr. fathers name was George from Germany. Where do you go with so many different spellings of one name? Don"t know if these names connect but I have to wonder. Don"t know anything about this family would like to know! My grandfather Frank I"ll call Jr. which I have also found on a few school cenus had brother and sisters by the name of George, Jim, Henry, Maime, Mae, Pearl, Ann, Maggie. These children were born in the late 1800---to early 1900, I was told in Ky., but found that one of them married in NC.
