My great-grandfather, Heinrich J. Boehne was born in 1811 in Hanover, Prussia. He married Anna Elizabeth Koenig (I have no information on her). They had a tailor shop in Newport, KY and made uniforms for the Union Army. They had one child: Heinrich C. Boehne, born on October 3, 1850. After Anna Elizabeth died, Henry Sr. married Margaret (last name unknown). They had one son: John Theodore Dominic Bohne (born in 1859).

Henry Jr. married Mary Theresa Schweer, who lived from 11-29-1849 to 11-9-1894. They had four children: Teresa, William, Lawrence, Charles, and Albert.
