Grace was Pieters daughter who married Bokko Kiel. Donna is the daughter of Edward ,son of Bokko and Grace (Grietje). My name is Patrick ,son of Paul, son of Peter , son of Bokko and Grace. I am looking for information on this silversmith from Utrecht. He was born 22 Sep 1771 and died 30 Jul 1804. He has a piece in the Centraal Museum in Utrecht.
He married Aletta Mooij around 1792 and had four children: Arnolda, Benjamin, Jannetje Elisabeth, and Cornelis Theodonus. His parents were Benjamin Boers and Arnolda Reynag.

Do you have births and deaths for John and Johanna?
What year was Petronella born?
What were Gysbert's and Petronella's siblings' names?
G & P's children's names (in order)?
Were G & P married in NL or USA?
Were they born in Utrecht? If so, do you have a year of emigration?

I see a possible marriage for John and Johanna, but I need more information to confirm it.

I am looking for any information about my great-grandfather, Louis Phillippe Brier's first wife, Lina Boer. The only information anyone in my family has is from a copy of their marriage certificate, dated January 26, 1874. It states that she was from New Orleans. The J.P, John L Laresche, spelled her name Lina Boor, but she signed it Lina Boer. All attempts to locate information about her have been unfruitfull. I would appreciate any information that anyone may have about her.

That is really strange, I am trying to get four generations for Charolette Harper,(my sister in law) I have the death dates of Roelof and Effie/Aafke and I have most of the children, I am going to Sweet Home this week end and was hoping I could get it done but, I dont think so. I also have Anna`s parents.
I have several census records, Hopeful if we work togeather we will find the whole family, Juanita ( Jim`s sister)

Effie's Dutch name was probably Aafke Woudstra. It looks like they emigrated before marriage; I don't see a Boer/Woudstra marriage in the Netherlands. What were the names of Roelof and Effie's children? Please respond at carlsonjm@hotmail.com

I have in a family photo album portrait pictures of the Rev. Henry K. Boer and his wife Mary. According to the 1880 census of Albany, NY, Rev Boer (34) was born in the Netherlands and was a minister: I presume he was a Dutch Reformed minister, given the name and the location. His wife (26) was also born in the Netherlands. A daughter Janetta (3) is also listed with them. If any of these names sound familiar to you and you would like a copy of the photos, I would be happy to send them to you.

thank you so much. since Grace Boers sister married Bokko Kiels brother, this is a double connection for a number of extended family. A cousin was able to get the KIEL side, but not too much on the BOER side.

Did you already found the information you want? Your grandfather Johannes Hermanus Boer was a cousin of my father. He was born in Holland in Rotterdam 18 feb. 1902 and his parents were Adrianus Johannes Boer and Cornelia Sundermeyer. I discovered just now a year to late this question of yours looking for information the other way round. I want to know who the children of your grandparents are and their children etc.

I am looking for information on Harmina Boer. She married John E. Elsing. They immigrated to the United States and lived in Minnesota. Harmina was born in 1838 and died in 1929. John Elsing was born 1840 and died in 1925. They are died buried in Wilmont, MN.

Yes I have, not on Harmina Boer, but a lot on Jan Eelsing (up to 15th century). Anybody interested can get a copy. My information says Harmina and Jan were married in Nieuweschans, not Bellingwolde.

I am a direct decendent of Harmina Boer. I do not know her parents' names, but know she was born September 5, 1838 in Groningen, Holland. She married John E. Elsing (may also be Eelsing) on June 3, 1865 in Belingewolde, Netherlands. Harmina died Jan. 19, 1929 in Wilmont, Minnesota, USA.

Because of language barriers it is very hard for me to trace my dutch heritage. My grandparents John Herman Boer and Johanna (Rynsburger) Boer both came from Holland in the early 1900's. Louis Boer, 76, of Modesto died Saturday at his home.

Mr. Boer was a native of Ripon. He lived in Modesto 52 years. He was an almond and peach farmer; he was a member of the Stanislaus County Farm Bureau. He belonged to Church of the Cross. He was a volunteer chaplain at Draper Rest Home in Salida for 37 years, and was a 4-H community volunteer. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Bertha Boer of Modesto; children, John G. Boer, James Boer, Louis Boer Jr., Christina Boer and Janice Stambaugh, all of Modesto; sister, Ella Scheeringa of Ripon; and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Ripon Cemetery. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Church of the Cross.

Remembrances may be made to Community Hospice, 601 McHenry Ave, Modesto 95350; or Church of the Cross, 3936 Dale Road, Modesto 95356.
