Jack E., Boers passed away October 8, 2003. Born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on February 14, 1935. He graduated from University of Michigan with a BSE(EE), BSE (Math), Master of Science in Engineering. In 1968 received his PHD with a Dissertation on Computer Simulation of Space-Charge Flows. He worked for many years at Sandia National Laboratories. Upon semi-retiring and moving to Garland, TX in 1991, he started Thunderbird Simulations which specialized in Ion-Beam Modeling. He was a member of I.E.E.E. American Physical Society, Sigma XI and holder of several U.S. patents. Jack is survived by his loving wife, Carol; children, Amanda Boers and her companion, Steve Bell and Robert Boers and wife, Ann Marie; step-children, Teresa Hanna and husband, Nagi, Greg Silva, Kevin Silva and wife, Shari and Kurt Silva; grandchildren, Matthew, Raechel, Scott, Mary, Andrea, Brooke and Marie. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 10, 2003 at RESTLAND ABBEY CHAPEL, Dallas, TX.
