Sarah Sophia was my gg grandmother. She was born in Barnwell South Carolina in 1855 and died in Montgomery Alabama in 1917. Her father was Arthur Patrick Bogacki who was born in Poland in 1820 and died after 1860. He shows up on the 1850 US census in South Carolina and was married to Elizabeth Willis. There is an A.P. Bogattski who shows up on the 1850 census in Charleston SC whose age is listed as 51. My assumption is that this was Arthur Patrick's father. His birthplace is Poland. Sarah Sophia had siblings named Karolina, Joseph, Colona, and Laura Louise. I know that Colona lived in Montgomery AL. I have been unable to go any further back in this line. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
