Hi, just read this late; it is now 2007. We may have emailed before because I have researched the Bogan line for some years. We are preparing a book as the bogans relates to the Arkansas - Texas lines. Caswell was a strong person, he lived a long life and buried three wives. Living in Washington Arkansas, I have had access to a number of documents as well as decendants of Pascal Parham )Pack) Bogan and Dr. Charles Pickney Bogan. Caswell's children were numerous due to three marriages. If one is not carefull, you will mix Cawell with another Caswell later. Earl Lester Bogan genealogy tree is very good; and I have had the opportunity email with Patrick Bogan of Texas who is a direct descendant of the Georgia Bogans. I can get you documented details, which will go into our book, if you are interested in Caswell, who was an uncle to Paschal and Dr. Charles P. Bogan. Dr. William Washington Mahan Sr. handled Caswell Bogan's estate. Papers are filed in the Washington County Courthouse. Caswell's daughter, Fannie, married Dr. Mahan Sr. Dr. Mahan had a son by the same name of his first marriage, who resided in Washington County and is buried at Prairie Grove. Fannie Bogan Mahan is buried there as you may know. Also, a son by she and Dr. Mahan is also buried there. Let me know if I can be of assistance; I have too much information on the early Bogans to relate it here. -- dennis
