Some Bogan's who married into the Coxe family were from Baton Rouge. Rebecca_____ Bogan (widow of Samuel Bogan) married my gggrandfather, Wm. P. Coxe in the 1830's. She already had one son, Sylvester Bogan, who moved to Ohio. Rebecca Wm.P. Coxe had two children, Samuel and Wm. H. Coxe who later moved to Ohio--Clermont Co. abt. 1860.
Sylvester married Sarah Williams, a stepdau to a later marriage of Wm. P. Coxe to Charlotte Paine Williams.
