Based on Susan's death certificate her parents are Benjamin Bogard and Polly Hoopingarner. Susan was actually born in Lawrence Co., IN based on 1820 and 1830 Census'. From what I can piece together is that Benjamin Bogard was born 1795 in Kentucky to Cornelius Bogard and Catherine Lambert. Benjamin married Polly Hoopingarner 16 Aug 1814 in Bullitt Co., Kentucky. They had 6 kids based on 1820 and 1830 census (Lawrence Co., IN) only 3 known at this time: Susan, Conrad Floyd (b. 1823), and Malica (b. 1830). Polly died right before the 1830 census was taken. Benjamin Married Jane Hodges 16 Oct 1834 in Vigo Co., IN.

Cornelius and Catherine had about 16 kids. I only know of 2 at this time. Benjamin and Levi. Levi was married to Susan Hoopingarner (Polly's sister).

Polly's father was Conrad Hoopingarner. I'm still researching these lines as I only recently came across this information.
