Dolores M. Pilarski Bogart
Dolores M. Pilarski Bogart, age 82, of Erie, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at Saint Mary’s Home of Erie. Born in Erie on April 14, 1926,
she was a daughter of the late Frank and Pearl (Zacholski) Pilarski. Before retiring in 1983, she worked as an assembler at Buffalo Plastics. She was a member of Saint John the Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Alfred Pilarski,
and a sister, Florence Majewski.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Robert F. Bogart; a son, Robert Wayne Bogart, wife Darlene, of Erie; a daughter, Sharon Ann Shaffer, husband Donald, of Erie; grandchildren, Stacey Bogart, companion Lori, Amy D’Onofrio, husband John, Sarah Allen, husband Zachary, all of Erie, Rebekah Dedrick, husband Steve, of Pittsburgh, and Cassie Shaffer, of Erie; great-grandchildren Drew D’Onofrio and Tyler Allen; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brugger Home for Funerals, 1595 West 38th Street at Greengarden Boulevard. Services will be held there Monday at 8:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Church at 9:30 a.m. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
