I hope you are still on Ancestry. I am curious about your adoption. Do you have a more specific date of birth or a town where you were born? I know of a Bogden family in Ohio during the 1950's.

LAKE MILTON, OH – Virginia M. “Ginny” Bogden, 83, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010, at the Hospice House in Poland, Ohio after an extended illness.

She and her husband had sponsored many championship dart and pool leagues, also alot of fundraisers for senior citizens in Newton Falls, Ohio and disabled children.

The daughter of Vincenzo “James” and Susan (Condi) Russo, she was born Sept. 15, 1927, in Masury, Ohio.

She graduated from Greenville, Pennsylvania High School and had a Cosmetology Degree as a beautician.
Ginny retired from “Ginny’s” Restaurant and Lounge in Newton Falls, Ohio as co-owner with her husband, John after 26 years.
She attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Warren, Ohio enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Her hobbies included, baking, cooking and darts. She had also completed a mixology course at Trumbull Campus at Kent State University.

She leaves behind her children, Ronald (Sandy) Bogden of North Jackson, Ohio, and Eugene (Belinda) Bogden of Berlin Center, Ohio; six grandchildren, Ronald Jr., Stacey, Jesse, Holly, Chelsea and Taylor Bogden; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Marian Valiski of Johnston.

Besides her parents and husband John whom she married Jan. 17, 1947, she was preceded in death by son John Jr.; brothers, Michael and Ralph Russo; and sister, Ann Daugherty.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today and one hour prior to the 10:30 a.m. service on Friday at Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren, Ohio with the Rev. David Merzweiler officiating. Burial at All Souls Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice of the Valley 5190 Market St. Youngstown, OH 44512.

Donna Bogden and Robert B. Evans, Utah County, Utah

I am searching for a Donna Bogden who supposidly married my relative Robert Benjamin Evans about 1923 in Utah County, Utah. I am trying to find their marriage record or any info on them. They may of had 4 children. Something happened by 1935, since he was remarried to another woman. I am trying to find Donna and any info on her. She may have been from Bosnia(Spelling?), from what I have been told. I would appreciate any help.

i have been looking up my dads surname he died in 1996 and i wanted to know more about it and where it came from. i am told i have lots of relatives all other the country and i am wanting 2 hear from any of them that might be related to me and my sisters.my dad was called john francais bogden,his mum was called teresa bogden she died when i was very little so i dont know alot about them.they lived in united kingdom,manchester i know mits a long shot but if there is anyone out there that might know my dads side i would luv 2 hear from u.

I'm trying to track down any information on a Charles Bogden (deceased), born March 2, 1925, in Pittsburgh, Allegheny, Pennsylvania. Parents were Charles Bogden and Mary Kosrlyrik (according to SSI). Lived at 22 Orr St. in Pittsburgh in 1942.

Do you know if your birth mother is from Ohio or Pennsylvania. If Pennsylvania, do you know where? My mother was a Bogden and had eight sisters. Let me know.

Looking for birth family Bogden. Ohio 1950's Gave me up for adoption
Infant Male Bogden. My adoptive parents always said that my mother didnt even care enough to bother to name me, but my adoptive parents were very abusive older people (now deceased) and I am thinking maybe
my mother (Miss Bogden) was very young or in some way forced to give me up. Thinking my own mother didnt care was a problem for me all my life. Now I dont know how to look for her or if she'd even want me to find her at all. Maybe she still thinks of me. ?

The name of Matthew "Big Mike" Bogdan's father was Francis "Frank" Bogdan. Matthew's son Michael Bogden also had a brother Frank who died as a child. If anyone has information to add, regarding Francis Bogdan, please do. Frank's 2 sons emigrated from Russia-Poland. I do not know the other name of son who settled in New York. Matthew did not keep in contact with his brother.Thanks.
