I have just found that my father John Vincent Bogel mispelled their name. On dad's birth certificate his name is John Vincent Bogel but his Father is John Henry Bogle, John Henry's father was John Vincent Bogle and his father was Lewis Bogle.The family is from Martinsburg, Pa. It was at one time Bedford county and is now Blair county. I also got the marriage applications of the Bogle men and they signed Bogle. John Vincent was married to a Belle (last name unknown) then after her death he married Maude Yingling. Lewis Bogle married a Lydia (Shirley). John Henry married a Mary Katherine McMullen. The McMullen are from Williamsburg, Pa. Mary Katherine was born in Altoons, Pa. After marrying she lived in Newry, Pa. and worked at Leighty's farm picking strawberries. John Henry Bogle was a peddler and sold fresh fruits and vegetables in Newry. If any one can help with any info I would appreciate it. Also John Henry had a 1/2 sister Mary Bogle who had a son Ralph Bogle (real father unknown). I was able to obtain alot of info from the Hollidaysburg, Pa court records and New Castle, Pa. birth and death records. Also in Martinsburg there is a Geneological Library that I got alot of the Obits from and cemetaries that Bogles are buried in.
I have more info just don't want to take up any more space.
I would appreciate any help anyone could give.
