Since posting my note, I've gotten some information indicating that Jacob is probably the father of Catherine but didn't have a name for the mother so that is a big help. Elizabeth Poffenberger is probably the sister of Henry Poffenberger who married Catherine Bogner. I have nothing to verify this but found her in my notes indicating she was married to John Bogner. Once again, nothing to verify this. Are you saying John Bogner (1799-1861) and Catherine (1793-1857) are the children of Jacob Bogner and Elizabeth Fertig? Any help is greatly appreciated.
