Hi,

My Great,Great Grandfather was born in Clonakenny, near Roscrea, Co. Tipperary circa 1850 - 1860. His father was a farmer. He came from a big family as he was in the middle and did not get anything from his fathers will.

He married McKeown who was from Enfield, Co. Meath.

They lived in Coombe St, Dublin 8. I do not know how many children there were but my Great Grandfather was Bernard Bohan who was a farrier (Blacksmith) and served in the 1st World War in the South Irish Regiment in the Curragh. He married Frances Bridgeman and lived in New St, Dublin 8.

Any info from Tipperary would be greatly appreciated so I can go back a generation.
