Good grief, Im stuck and my brain is fried! Im looking for any information regarding the John Bohan, born abt 1831 Ireland. The first evidence of him in the United States is a 1960 census from Muscle Ridge Islands, Maine. He was a 'Quarryman' , married Bridget Preston (from Ireland) and died in 1904 Gloucester, Ma. John was a Quarryman and stonemason both in Maine and Gloucester, Ma. He and Bridget had 11 children, the oldest being Charles H Bohan, my Great Great Grandfather. Any information on Charles H Bohan would be wonderful as he seemed to disappear around 1900 leaving his sister Catherine to raise his 4 children. Any help would be wonderful!
