Don't think the Henry County Eli who married Elizabeth Mercer could be the same as the Eli in Newton County who married Mary A. Johnson in December 1965. Their children were Bradford, Levi, Richard and Madora. Madora married Moses Gunn in Butts County and Mary A. was living with them in 1900, 1910 and 1920 so Eli much have died before 1900. Surely my great grandfather Eli must have had siblings. Cannot link him to anyone except to Mary A. in the 1880 census with the above children.
