Bohmbach - MA

My grandfather was Edward Charles Bohmbach. I believe he was born in Upstate New York in the late 1800's and eventually settled in Massachusetts. He died of pneumonia in 1942. I know his parents came from Germany, but I have no idea where they originally came from. I was wondering if anyone had any infomation on the Bohmbach name.
