Henry S. Boisclair married Rena Brown on 07-11-1868 in Tallahatchie County, Mississippi. He is buried at Beauvoir, Mississippi where he died on March 5, 1909.

Henry S. Boiscliar served with the 21st Miss Co. F C.S.A. enrolling at the age of 23 and became captured at Gettysburg 2 July 1863 (Cashtown) and taken Harrisburg, PA and then to Ft. Delaware Prison. He escaped by September 1863 some believe with another 21st Miss prisoner, Sgt. Miller on the night of abt. 12th or 13th of August 1863 by swimming the river.
