John Lewis Kale Holzendorf born abt. 1775 in South Carolina. He was the son of John Frederick Holzendorf Jr. and Elizabeth Ehrhardt. John Lewis Kale Holzendorf married his first cousin Sarah Holzendorf on 26jan1797. they had no children as far as i know. Sarah died in Mc Intosh co. Georgia on july 15, 1803. John Lewis Kale then married Margaret Louise Creichton on April 28, 1807. They had the following children Alexander born 1808, James born 1811, Mary Louisa born 1817 and emilene (emily) born Sept 1824. John Lewis Kale's paternal grandparents are John frederick holzendorf sr.and Marianne Rosannah (last name unknown) john sr. and marianne came from brandenburg germany in 1733. John sr. was one of the first settlers in Georgia and fought in the
"Battle of the Bloddy Marsh". John Lewis Kale died on November 28, 1861.
