Bold Bold was my gggrandfather.Albert was my great grandfather. He was an excise officer. He married a Jane Dashwood on the I.O.W. 1819.He had at least 2 sons & a daughter with her. She remained on I.O.W. when he retired to Illminster & had a second family with Louisa Webb.Bold Bold was the son of Richard Bold born Eccles 1769. He was the son of a hosier Robert Bold & his wife Sarah.Richard was a wheelwright in Manchester. He then joined the army 92nd foot then 1st lifeguards.He spent most of his time at Albany barracks I.O.W.He married Ann Saxton in 1792.They had Bold Bold 1794,Walter Saxon 1796, Louisa May 1803,Robert Henry 1805 Richard 1808 & John Boardman 1809
