Hi, I'm wondering if you checked for a birth certificate of your grandfather's. You might do that, the original will probably be sealed but depending on which state he was born in, there may be a chance you could get a copy of the sealed one now. Try doing that. Also a copy of his marriage certificate, (he would be alive to provide the information).
