Boldt ancestors from Meckenburg to New Zealand & elsewhere?

Henry John Joseph BOLDT (born 15 June 1863 - Dassow, Mecklenburg, Germany) is my Gt-Gt-Grandfather, his mother was Anna Maria Dorothea BOLDT (born 22 March 1840 - Mecklenburg, Germany) and adoptive father Johann Christian Friedrich ROSE (born 1830 - Dassow, Mecklenburg, Germany).

Anna's parents were Frederick Heinrich BOLDT and Maria Elizabeth Johanna KROHN. They had 5 children of which Anna was the youngest. Johann Peter Friedrich BOLDT (born 22 May 1832), Johann Christian BOLDT (born 10 April 1834), Sophia Frederica Amelia BOLDT (born 24 January 1836), Catherina Maria Magdalene BOLDT (born 04 August 1837). Eldest Johann and Anna were the only two to come to New Zealand. Not sure where the other 3 ended up - maybe you can help.

While in Germany Anna had 3 illigitmet children with 3 different men. My ancestor Henry was the oldest of these three and his father is belived to be Friedrich SCHLICHTING. Henry and his two half-sisters came out to Nelson, New Zealand on board the chile in 1874 with their Uncle and his family (Anna's brother). The uncle is Johann Peter Friederick BOLDT and wife Anna Maria Sophia HARMES (born 8 July 1842 - Mecklenburg, Germany)

If you know of any info on this family or possible links I would be very grateful to hear from you.
BOLDT in POMMERN

My Great Grandmother was Fredericka WOLDT who married Charles/Carl BOLDT in Rabuhn, Gross Pobloth, Pommern. This village is in Poland today and was under the DDR control until the unification of Germany in 1990. This family came to America about 1872 and settled in Lake County, Indiana. They stopped first in Chicago and some stayed there. They settled in what was at one time known as Tolleston, Lake County, Indiana and which is now a part of Gary.

I was doing research in Chester, Randolph, IL. earlier this month.
IL. Census lists:
BOLDT, H.M. age 48,
Sophia age 41
Selma age 14
Herbert age 12
(BOLDT) all listed in the Randolph County, IL census either 1880 or 1900. (1890 census destroyed, shortly after it was taken ... (possibly by either fire or flood.)
I would like to know if any BOLDT m. an OHMS, Charles Wm., or other OHMS?

My father Gerald Boldt, son of Ben (Bernhardt) Boldt who was married to Arvilla, was born in the Milwaukee area in 1917. Ben Boldt's siblings were Johanna and Kate and possibly a brother Wilfred. They came from Germany in the 1880's or 1890's, I believe. I am seeking information regarding Ben Boldt's family tree and German roots.

I have a wonderful old ca 1900-1910 studio portrait of "August Boldt and his family", which I would like to get back to family members. There are three children and 3 spouses and 5 grandchildren in the picture. The photo came from the Oshkosh, WI area and I believe it to be of the August Boldt family of Oconto Co., WI. His wife's name was Wilhelmina (or Minnie) and sons were Max, Hugo and William (at least), who lived in Oconto Co., WI area.

Please email me at margerice@proidgy.net and if you feel this is your family, I could scan you a copy of the photo.

Anna Caroline Boldt who married Carl Krueger in Germany around 1857

I am looking for the roots of Carl Krueger and Anna Caroline Boldt in Mecklenburg. Carl was born July 23, 1829, and Anna was born December 1, 1839. Anna's father was Henry (or Heinrich?) Boldt. Carl and Anna married in about 1857 and between 1859 and 1862 they emigrated to America. By 1870 they were living in Bremen Township, Cook County, Illinois. In 1882 they moved to Martin County Minnesota. A George Boldt of Chicago (perhaps a nephew of Anna's) attended Anna's funeral in Minnesota in 1910.
