There's are few here in D'Iberville, MS. Most of known kin are in Rankin County. H.T. Boler Granfather. Uncles Phillip, David and Timothy. Dad is Therrell Glen. Nice to find older ancestors.

I have been researching my husband family tree and talked with his 90 yr.old Aunt Chris. The Bolers in Neshoba co. Miss, and clark co. ala. are connected. Annel Boler married Mary Abbie Herrington. My mother-in-law said that she was full Cherokee,but our Aunt thinks she was a fraction.

"Mrs. Anna Grogan, nee Boler, passes away in Milwaukee last Friday, December 31. Mrs. Grogan, a resident of Stanley for many years, left here with her husband Thomas about 1920 and has resided in Milwaukee since that time. Mr. Grogan passed away shortly after leaving Stanley.
Surviving are her two daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Sigurson and Mrs. Pauline Strassburg.
Funeral services were held Monday morning at 9:00 in Milwaukee from St. Mathew's Church with interment in Holy Cross cemetery."

Anna was born in Holland? and died in Milwaukee in 1954. Thomas was born in 1870 PA and died in Milwaukee in 1918. They married in Chippewa County in 1895.

I am the granddaughter of carl andrew boler and he died back in 1999 and I have never met him. Bowler and Foston families

I am looking for a Martha Bowler who married a James Foston. Both are probably from England. The had a daughter Kate Foston who married Stephen Hartley. Kate was born in 1887 and Stephen in 1881.Kate was born in England.Any help would be appreciated.

Emma was born abt. 1891, probably in Trempealeau co. WI.
They had at least one daughter, Florence Elizabeth Beckel.
Florence married Selmer Nelson, lived in Blair, Trempealeau co. WI. area. Florence & Selmer divorced.
They had a daughter, Lillian Louise Nelson in 1922. She
moved to Washington state, no date.
Trying to find info. for this family. Not much to go on.

Dear Edith, My grandmothers name was Velma Boler Rushing . I lived with my grandmother along with my brother, Happy. We live on North 15th Ave across from Prentiss
Elementary School. My grandmother had a brother named Bob and another one named Jack .As a matter of fact there were 8 brothers . She was the only girl. I knew your father and I knew your sister Shirley. We were in the same P. E. class in Jr. High. My fathers name was Wesley Rushing.and my mothers name was Lucille.Hope to hear from you soon. Linda

Hello,

I am researching the Bolars in Fayette and Jessamine Counties in Kentucky. This is what I know:

Eliza Bolar (slave) had children: Joseph, Aaron, Ella and Jerry.
Father of children believed to have been named Jerry. They are in the Lexington area in 1870. She acquired land from a James H. Dean in 1872 in Jessamine County. She married James Mason and is listed in the 1880 Jessamine census with daughter Ella Boler (then 17). Joseph (my-great-grandpa) and Aaron raised families nad farmed the propery.

Looking for further info on Eliza, Ella and Jerry Bolar/Boler.

I am looking for Martha Virginia Adelaide Boler, she was the daughter of John Boler and Martha Boyd. She married George Henry Abney born July 11 1853 died Oct 1882, supposed to be buried in Abney Cemetery Union Ms Newton Co. I have no record of the marriage, the Bolers were from Elberton Ga, as were the Abneys. If anyone could give me any inf of this family and their 3 children, I would greatly appreciate it.
