debra, do you have a name for your great grandfather? also where are you from. My husband is a Bolin and we have done quite a bit of research, of course we are nowhere near done but we might have something you could use. However it is pretty hard with just a date and no name or where you are looking. We live in Ohio and our Bolins came from Virginia, in the mid 1800's. Sue
