Tanya, this is Sandy Lindloff again. My computer crashed a couple of yrs abt 04 and just by chance I found this.. do not know if you are still at this spot.

Bruce's half brother George, Robert "Bobby", Pat and Sylvia are twins and Mary. His mom was Mary also. I have boxes of paper work and was just lucky to have found a disk where I had saved this post. I am still at cjas1@cox.net.. not sure if we had decided if George Schipler who had to have been born I would say (since I do not have my tree pulled up right now). Bruce was born 45, I think the twins were born 47 or 48.. then came George then Mary and last Bobby.. I hope we can connect again and see if George is Bruce's brother... how is your search going??? Sandy

Walter and Samuel Boling in 1900 Census

In the 1900 Census there was a Walter and Samuel Boling who were brothers living with their parents Charles [Father] and Analiza [Mother]all were from New Jersey. This was an African American family. I am looking for anyone who may have a connection to this family and possibly may have a picture of Samuel Boling in particular. Samuel Boling married a Carrie Smith around 1904 and had three children, one of which was my grandmother Anna Boling; the other two children were Charles Boling and John Boling. All three children are dead now. I have a picture of Carrie Smith/Boling but I do not have a picture of Samuel Boling or any of the Boling family members---Walter or Samuel's parents--Charles and Analiza.

If anyone can help with this request, I would be very appreciative of any halp that you can give.

Thanks!

John

Augustus Gus Boling of Pickens County, Georgia

Can anyone tell me the parents and/or siblings of Gus Boling who married married Sarah? Children listed in 1900 Pickens Co., GA census were Monroe, Grant, Asbury, and Sherman. I have seen the name spelled Bollen, Bolen, Bolling, and several other ways. In one earlier census, he was living next house to Joseph and Sarah Boling Winter/Winters. I believe that Sarah and Gus may be sibling. Any info is appreciated.

I think you said that Rosa's mother was named something other than Sarah Lousada. The only wife of Anderson Columbus "Lum" Winter is listed in the census as Lousada. Am I missing a wife or did the census taker make a mistake?
Do you have photos of Rosa, Lum or his wife or any other the older Winters?

You can contact me at mgeorgiabell@bellsouth.net
