My brothers and I are researching the Bolla family in the Delray area of Detroit, MI. Janc and Janosne Bolla emigrated to the states from Hungary about 1900 with their children. They are on the 1910 census in Detroit as:
John Bolla b. 1848
Sophy C. b. 1848
Charles son age 24
Albert G. son age 21
Rose dau age 20

There was also a daughter Lydia Bolla FARKAS b. 1879 d. 2/7/1932 (our great grandmother) who was married to Daniel FARKAS.
According to census records for 1920 & 1930 Albert G Bolla continued to live in the Delray area of Detroit. His family was as follows:

Olga b. abt 1915
Wilma b. abt 1916
Steve b. abt 1919
In 1930 Charles Bolla is living in Granite City, Madison Co., IL with 2 more children:
Joseph b. abt 1922
Daniel b. abt 1926
