I knew Doug Bollman. He was one of the greatest men I was to ever meet as of this day in time. The smartest and most intelligent man I knew and such a regular guy. He was always the most intelligent person in the room when we played scrabble. He would work a room at a bar and meet all kinds of interesting people, and he was truly interested in them, no matter who they were, what background. He had such a moral sense of justice, and he Always aimed to do the right thing. Doug made his mark in my life. His cheerful ways taught me and my children joy, happiness, the sharing of Christmas, family. And just like when he was in the bar, he was just like us, no matter who we were. Doug made you feel good. Everyone loved him. He made you feel interesting and he enlihgtened you with some cool fact while making everyone laugh, never feel stupid. He was a people person. Yet, there are none like him. These are just a few of the things that made him great to me.
