Both Marion and Tempy are buried in Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
Marion's father was Benjamin Littleberry Bolton (b. 2/6/1804
in Wake Co. NC, d. 4/13/1864 in Franklin Co. AL, buried
Greenhill-Ezzell Cemetery). His mother was Mary Jane
Overton (b. 5/20/1858 in North Carolina, d. 12/24/1884
Franklin Co. AL, buried Greenhill-Ezzell Cemetery). They
married May 19 1853. His obituary said that they came to
Texas in 1888.
I have information on Marion's Bolton ancestors through his great-grandparents.
There is a reunion every Spring (this year it is the first weekend in April) for descendants of James and Polly Bolton
(Marion's grandparents) at Rustic Youth Camp on Cedar
Creek in Franklin Co. AL. This camp is on land that was
owned by Benjamin Littleberry's sister Rhoda Bolton Jones.
