I am just getting into this phase of hunting for relatives of the Smiley family. I have found two daughters who married men by the name of-oddly enough-Boltz on the marriage census but listed as Pulse by an old-long deceased -relative years ago. Can anyone tell me what the relationship between the two names is.? I noticed someone had inquired about both names. The men lived in Knox Co. MO, I believe-or at least one of them did-sometime in the 1830s to 1880s. All information will be greatly appreciated. I have quite a bit of information on the ladies family who are my relatives. Thank you.Also, does anyone know where Sandhill, MO is or was located. It does not appear on maps that I have. I know many places in that era were absorbed or changed names.
