I'm trying to connect to a Bona family from Spain all the way back to the 1200-1500s. Our family has come to find out that our surname Bonasera is really a combo of two families, a Bona family of Spain and the Del Sera family of Florence, Italy. The Bona family may have emigrated to northern Italy during that time. Any leads would be appreciated. FYI The combined Bonasera lineage ended up in Sicily where it has the highest concentration of Bonasera in the world - help us to connect these two families! The Del Sera family has incredible connections to the arts, from Michelangelo to Jean Baptiste Lully - both with mothers who were of the Del Sera family.
