Did your G-G- Grand father George Bond have any brothers like Reuben Bond he may have had a different frist name...that came to Canada round 1872 with his wife Mary Ann (Locke )and her brother a Charles Henry Locke. I have info that says that he was from Bristol, England but that info might be wrong.
