My G'grandmother was Alma Mary Elizabth Bond, she was born in Ireland ca 1850/53, she was m at Mexborough Yorks, 1874, to Tom Robinson of Salford, Lancs.,and gave as her usual place of residence Islington, London. Her father was George Bond and he was a soldier.
could be some connection here maybe. Don't know anything about Suffolk though.
