I am a descendant of William Brignell Reeves and his first wife Mary Ann Bonehill. Mary Ann was the daughter of Benjamin Bonehill and Ann Cartwright. I would welcome the opportunity to exchange any information.

I contacted Richard Bonehill and he had Selina amongst his records.

Her parents are Joseph & Prudence, and Christoper (gunmaker) was her brother.

If you go to Richard Bonehill's family tree site you will find info.about the gunmaker.
Just put his name on any search engine and it will come up!

Father: Joseph Bonehill....Factor

Trades data provided to me:

Joseph w/ wife Prudence operated hardware store...also operating there was a Chris Bonehill-gun implement maker. Chris lived nearby.

These may or may not be mine as I have not located confirmation these are Selina's parents...

I am looking for the parents/siblings of Seleana (also spelled as Selena, Selina) Bonehill..

She would have been born @ 1829/1830 in the Aston/Alton/Birmingham area (places per various census reports)

She married William Thomas Wilkenson (he later used his full name again-Wilkinson Seymour,)
they married May 1850, Aston

Anyone run into Selena in their research yet ??

My maternal grandfather was Albert John Bonehill ,he married Ada Reynolds in?1914 at Neville's cross Durham.Not much more is known about them as my grandmother died very young and grandfather remarried and had only brief contact with my mother.

My g.grandfather was William Bonehill of Birmingham ,he had 3 sons and 2 daughters.His son my grandfather was Alber john Bonhill -he was the youngest born in 1884.William appears on the 1881 census and his wife Ann .

I have found a mary Anne Bonehill born 1821 daughter of john Bonehill and Jane Bonehill nee Hill.John was a Lime burner,from 32 Cumberland street,Birmingham.hope this helps.

I have some info. sent to me by Richard Bonehill that says that Marianne bonehill was born at Wooton Warren in 1837,daughter of William Bonehill and Sarah Perks.Could this be your mary anne.Or I have a mary Ann Bonehill born 1821 daughter of William Bonehill and Ann Carrington.

hi i read your mess last nite. my fathers name was james arthur bonehill born 1937 died 1987 unfortunatly i did not meet his parents. they died when he was young.he was brought up by his sister jean. he had 1 brother charles and about 4 or 5 sisters. but unfortunatly ive left my folder at home. he was born in manchester south western district.he lost his original birth certificate and only his name is on one that i have i got.i hope this is of some use to you. if u wish to get in touch with my address is 36 bowen cooke ave crewe cheshire cw1 3nr england. tel no 01270 586120. u never know we might be related.

I found more information. Anne's name is Mary Anne. She and Reeves were married May 23, 1858, at St. Mary Parish Church, Lambeth, County of Surrey, England. Is this family related to you? I am looking for information concerning them. Thanks

There is a chance that the correct Bonehill is the one born at Wooton Warren in 1837. Are you able to find out any more information, like who she married, her descendents. If she is the right one, I believe she died around 1885. I'm looking for her husband and information about him. Thanks so very much. I hope you're finding what you are looking for. Barbara

My g.father Albert J. Bonehill was born in Birminham in 1882 son of William and Ann Bonehill nee Carrington.
William my ggrandfather was born in Birmingham son of John Bonehill and Jane Bonehill nee Hill.

the best thing now is to contact Richard Bonehill he has lots of info. on Bonehills and will be able to tell you more than i can.Just type Bonehill family in any search engine I used Google.com and you will find him.I e-mailed another Bonehill researcher but he hasn't replied to me!
