My research ends with a John 'Bonnell' and
his wife Nancy ( Farraday or Pandry )
arriving in the USA supposedly in 1774
... from the British Isles (may be Ireland).

With all the different last name spellings,
a connection is possible.

Are you aware of anyone in this line who has submitted for a DNA Test?
Or would consider it?

The BNL_dna Surname Project covers Bonnell, Bonell, Bunnell, etc and is at
http://www.ftdna.com/public/BNL_dna

Feel free to contact me directly, too.
http://www.kbsb.com/bonnelltree
Sorry to gate crash the your messages but I have been trying to bring the Lichfield, Gentleshaw and Longdon Bonells in with the missing link to the Yorkshire branch
Both Matthew Snr and Edward Snr were sons of Robert Bonell (born 1738) and Ann (maiden name Ironmonger)I can take these back to mid 1600's but have not traced the Yorkshire side since Matthew jnr married Susanna Hague and had a daughter Mary Jane in 1852

I would welcome any info you have to bring your side of the family up to date on my records

John = apologies for not having replied sooner, have only just seen your message, would be very interested to get in touch with you, I have just got in touch with David Child who mentioned you and said that you had researched the name quite extensively in Rawmarsh etc. I am descended from Edward and Sarah, through Edward Bonell and Mary ann Elliot, and then Edward Bonell and Lucy Moon - Herbert Bonell and Emily Sidebottom - Florence Bonell - my Grandmother. I would be very grateful for any information you could share as most of the details I have so far on this family are from census and some marriage/birth certificates.
BONEL/BUNNEL/BONELL/BUNEL Surname

I am looking for a Cynthia Missouri Bonel who married a James White Gloer. I believe their middle names are part of the clue to finding them. Both were born in Atlanta, Fulton, GA and moved in 1901 or so to Beaumont, Jefferson, TX. I need to get help to find Cynthia (who according to the census, went by Missouri) since there are so many spelling variations to the name. Please - contact me if you can help!
Thank you in advance.

I am searching the Bonell---Bonehill----Boihnel name. These names seem to interwine. I am looking for Catherine Malone, who married a Bonehill. I believe they were married in Troy,New York. Their 3 children were born there. My gggrandfather was William Bonehill, born June 24, 1845. I have been unable to find his father. I have found a William Bonell, living in New York Co. in 1860, and a Catherine Bonell living in Rensselaer cty. in 1860.
