Surnames: Bones, Dent?
Hi

for the past couple of years I've been trying to trace the origins of Robert BONES who arrived in Lincolnshire sometime around the early 1800s. If anyone can identify a link I'd be very interested...

Birth* __ ___ 1789?
Marriage* 6 May 1811? Mary Dent? (255) (b. 1792?, d. 1871)
Daughter: 13 Apr 1817 Sophia Bones (247); Broughton,
Lincolnshire.
Daughter: before __ Elizabeth Bones (429)
Dec 1819
Daughter: before __ Elizabeth Bones (430)
Jan 1821
Daughter: before __ Hannah Bones (431)
Nov 1823
Son: before __ Robert Bones (269)
Aug 1826
Son: before __ James Bones (432)
Mar 1831
Son: before __ Joseph Bones (433)
Jul 1836
Daughter: before __ Ann Bones (434)
Jul 1836
Death* 4 Dec 1848 Broughton, Lincolnshire.
Burial* 6 Dec 1848 Broughton, Lincolnshire.

In the 1841 Census, Robert's age of 50 (rounded down to nearest 5?) suggests a birth date of 1787-1791. He died before the 1851 but his death and burial records suggest an actual birth date between 5 Dec 1788 - 4 Dec 1789. Apparently he was born outside Lincolnshire but we know not where!

I have various detail on this family and their connections if anyone would benefit from it.

I think the family moved to Broughton between 1812 and 1814 (and I think they may have had another Elizabeth child a month before the marriage in 1811 if it's the same Mary). She was later the village postmistress in Broughton until 1869.

Any sugestions or connections appreciated :o)
