Our earliest Bongards ancestry is Catharina b. 1809 Schwafheim, Moers, Rhineland, Ger. Anyone know where that is? Parents are probably Louis and Wilhelmina Bongard. Settled in Carver Co., Mn., mid 1850's. Related to WILMSCHEN also of same town/area. Protestant. Any possibilities or info on town location? Email answer preferred.
