Thanks Gerry! It's good to finally find someone who is researching some of the same ancestors as I am! I have been trying to find info in France on two seperate family names, but am having a hard time as I understand some French, but am not very fluent. I was actually going to try to find out as much as I could on my ancestors in Canada before jumping into France. Have you ever noticed though that with Nicholas, his date of birth is 1655, but he comes to Canada in 1665 as a soldier. There must be a problem with the birth date? Do you have any suggestions to find hard facts on my ancestors in Quebec? I would greatly appreciate it. Kristie
