WWII-Sailor Robert Francis Boo

I'm looking for relatives of Robert Francis Boo. He was a sailor during WWI and listed his hometown as Des Moines, Iowa. He was aboard the sub, the USS GRUNION when she disappeared on its maiden voyage in the Aleutians. She was last heard from in July, 1942 and families weren't notified for about 2 months.

Apparently, they weren't declared dead until Aug.2, 1943. 70 men died on this submarine and nothing was known of its fate until recently.

Now a search will soon be underway, being conducted by the son's of the Commander. I have joined the search to locate relatives of the sailors who died.

Any leads or tips on Robert Francis Boo is appreciated...Thank you
