5. George J. Books, Jr. b. 1840 near Dayton, Ohio. Died 1906 in Goshen, Elkhart Co, IN. Married Mary A. Potts 1865 in Elkhart Co. Known children are William A. and Elizabeth (Lizzie) Books.

6. David Daniel Books b. 1842 in Ohio. Died 1924 in Dunn County, WI. Married Lucinda Whitehead Simpson 1863 in Goshen, Elkhart Co, IN. Known children are William H., Ida, Milton, Daniel, Nettie, Charles Clinton, Frank and Ollie Books.

7. Henry Books b. 1844 Ohio. Died 1905 in Elkhart County, IN. Married Susan Lear (Leer). Known children are Alonzo and Nelson Books.

8. Sarah Books b. 1845 in Ohio. Married Henry Weed 1867 in Elkhart County, IN.

9. Daniel Books b. 1848 in Ohio.

It is thought that George J. Books, Sr. married Anna Kinsey in Elkhart County in 1868 after the death of his wife Margaret.
