I am researching Nicholas Boon(e) and he is on the 1850,1860,1870,1880 census without the "E" on his name. He was born in NC, then briefly in GA, then moved to Pennington and Sumpter in Trinity Co. and then bought 320 acres in Polk Co. He raised several children in Trnity and Polk Co. and I can't find a grave for any of them except his two daughters who married and moved to Angelina Co. and are both buried at Clark's Ferry Cemetery. A group of us are in the process of trying to get that deplorable cemetery cleaned up and restored. Have you come across the Nicholas Boon family? Pretty sure they link back to the immigrant Thomas Boon but missing one link.
