My great great grandfather was Jesse Grayson born North Carolina about 1800-1808. He married a Margaret about 1833.Family say she was a Boone. Cannot prove it. Her first son was William S. Grayson born 1834 in Illinois. Family say Saline County. This is not true, Saline County was not established till 1847. It was Gallatin County in 1833/1834. He was born in Illinois, but that doesn't mean they were married in Illinois. Jesse Grayson father was William Grayson and mother was Annie or Anna or Amy born 1774 North Carolina. William Grayson was in Monroe County, Tennessee 1830, 1840, 1850 and died abt. 1855. Please, I need some help with Jesse Grayson marriage to this Margaret Boon or Boone. Margaret was born 1816 in Tennessee. pat
