The Sarah Boone who married William King was the daughter of Mordecai Boone, whose father was Hezekiah Boone, first cousin of Daniel Boone.

William and Sarah (Boone) King made homestead near Boggy in Leon County. He died there in 1856 and is buried in an unmarked grave. She then moved to Kosse, Texas, to live with her son, Thomas Rufus King. She died in 1882 and is buried in the Kosse Cemetery.

William and Sarah were my g-g-g-grandparents; their son, Miles Morgan King and his first wife, Ephphatha Head, were my g-g-grandparents. Miles lived in Robertson and Limestone counties. He died in 1891 and is buried in the King Cemetery near Thornton, Texas. At the time of his death, he was married to Sarah Lawley.
