My grandfather's mother was a Lydia or Lizzie Boothroyd. She married a John Steward and gave birth to twins - my Grandfather (Ronald A Steward)and an unknown brother in Michigan City, Indiana (North Eastern Indiana along Lake Michigan).

There was a Joseph Boothroyd listed as living in Michigan City, IN with his family in the 1890's and they may have been relatives of the Massachussets Boothroyd family.

My great grandmother - Lydia or Lizzie may have been a niece of Joseph or perhaps a married daughter?

I have found reference to a Lydia Boothroyd living in Michigan City, Indiana who was married to a John A Bowen with a son Roy A and daughter Alice.
