Surnames: Borders
My husband is looking for information on these two Borders'. They were twins born sometime in 1870's? Sim was married to Cellas (spelling?) Lane. She was a full blooded Cherokee Indian. They had James Borders born March 6th 1898 and died Nov. 1964 in Hoopeston IL. When Sim died, Sam married Cellas and they had Sambo. Sam and Sim originated from Ky. and when James married Lena Borders they moved to Lovington, IL where they had Roy Borders. My husband is the grandson of Roy. Any infow would be of great help.
