Surnames: Borders, Hardigree, McElroy, Gray, Russel
I think two families got confused for a little while, but it's straightened out now. The book is correct.
I'm wondering if you or Billy know who these folks are who are listed in the Runnels County marriages on the Runnels County GenWeb site:
Grooms listed first:
A.L. Borders to Parrie Hardigree; 13 Dec 1894
G.A. Borders to Lena McElroy; 16 Nov 1903
Brides listed first:
Annie Borders to Sam Gray; 13 Sept 1888
(could this be Sarah Ann, b 1866, daughter of John b. 1847 & R. Louisa??)
Sallie Borders to Thomas Gray; 18 Nov 1886
(could THIS be Sarah Ann I asked about above??)
Mary Borders to James F. Russell; 13 Nov 1909
(is she the widowed 2nd wife of my William F. Borders?)
