Hi, What was your grandmothers name. My Bordieri family from Sicily settled in Rhode Island too. I believe they were from Palazzolo-Acreide close to Siracusa.

Hi! Yeah, Paul was my grandfather Josephs(Duke) brother his wife Elvira(Vera). My father is James and his younger brothers are Joseph, Richard and Donald. Hope life treating you well.

I am not sure. How old are they? My grandfather had 9 other siblings they came from Sicily/Rhode Island then to NY. They lived in Brooklyn in the 50's.

My great grandparents were originally Bordiere (changed to Bordieri at some point). I am still early in my research, but my great grandfather did come through Ellis Island in the early 1900's. He lived in MA & was buried here.

My Grandfathers name was Salvatore Bordieri, and grew up in East Boston, then moved to Foxboro MA

I'm trying to piece together fragments of several Bordiere and Bordieri families who lived in Boston, Mass. and New Britain, CT in the early to mid-1900s, having come originally from Italy. If you have relations by that name in those places, I'd like to correspond with you. Several married into the Busheme or Buscemi families.

My maiden name is "Bordieri" I am looking for anyone that knows the last name. It isnt a common name.My grandfather Joseph Bordieri is 1of 10 kids parents Salvatore Bordieri & Annunziata Grimaldi I think of Palazzolo,Catania,Sicily.My grandfather came to the US 1920's he lived in Rhode Island.Then later went to New York. I have heard there are relatives in San Diego. His siblings names are : Sal,John,Paul,Carl,Mary,Annie,Molly,Connie,Nancy.
