Surnames: Born, Bailey
Dovie Deluska Delaine Born was born in Suwannee, Gwinnett Co., Ga. in 1864. She married William Jackson 'Bill' Bailey and had 4 kids. Miles Ranuwine Bailey; Cilvestia "Vestia" or "Vess" Bailey; Laveder Bailey. Dovie and the 4th child, Willie Bailey, died during childbirth in Paris, Lamar Co., Texas
Dovies father was Daniel Delaney Born, his father was Samuel C. Born, his father was John Born from Germany. There is a pic of Dovie dressed in the high fashion of the time, so the family was well to do. Still ahaven't found out any info on the Born Plantation yet. Don't know where it was though I presume it was around Gwinnett Co., Ga.
