I have some information on this family, and need to correct
one of the other messages in this thread.

The list of children for Michael and Anna Maria includes
too many, and has an incorrect date for Anna Margareth.
Anna Margareth was born in 1739. Anna Maria had her and the
last three. The first three children are from Michael's
first marriage.

Anna Maria was a widow when she married Michael. Her first
husband was Hans Adam Zentz, by whom she had Christian in
1731, Catharina in 1734, and Peter in 1736. The Zentzes and
Borns immigrated in 1738 on the bilander Thistle, arriving
in Philadelphia. Hans Adam Zentz died on the journey, and
so did the wife of Michael Born. Anna Maria is listed as
"Sents" on the passenger list, so she must have married
Michael after they arrived. It must have been very soon
after, since Anna Margareth was born in 1739.

Michael and Anna Maria lived in Salem Co NJ for a while,
but they were in York Co PA by 1754, when Christian Zentz
married. Christian had his first child there in 1756 (the
sponsors were Michael Born and wife Anna Maria), and the
families were in Baltimore Co by 1758.

I have been saying that Anna Maria's maiden name was Geis,
but now I'm having doubts. On the marriage record for Hans
Adam Zentz at FamilySearch, the wife is Anna Maria but her
last name is illegible. There is also a marriage for Johann
George Zentz and Anna Maria Geis. For a long time people
thought Anna Maria's husband was a George, but Christian's
birth record gives his name as Hans Adam. Given that, Anna
Maria's maiden name is probably not Geis.

I'm descended from Anna Maria's son Peter Zentz.
